Straeon Gwerin Cymru

Straeon Gwerin Cymru brings together a collection of Welsh folk tales from Peter Stevenson, a storyteller, illustrator, author and collector of folklore. The book presents traditional stories connected with Wales, preserving material shaped by oral storytelling and the country’s long folk tradition.

Stevenson has produced several volumes of Welsh folk tales for The History Press, combining his knowledge of storytelling with his work as an illustrator and researcher. This collection offers a Welsh-language gathering of stories rooted in the traditions of Cymru, suitable for readers interested in folklore, storytelling and the cultural history of Wales.
