Beyond Top Secret

Beyond Top Secret examines reported UFO incidents alongside questions of military secrecy, intelligence work and national security. Timothy Good brings together accounts from Britain, the former Soviet Union, Argentina, Spain, China, Cuba and the United States, presenting testimony from pilots, astronauts, military personnel and intelligence sources.

Among the cases discussed are alleged near-misses involving British Airways pilots, an Argentine airliner incident followed by a localised power blackout, and Soviet reports involving radar stations and space missions. The book also considers the release of Spanish air force files, claims about materials allegedly recovered from a 1947 crash in New Mexico, and former astronaut Gordon Cooper’s account of film showing a reported landing at Edwards Air Force Base.
