My Haunted History
My Haunted History combines historical research with Penny Griffiths-Morgan’s personal investigations at 10 reportedly haunted locations across the UK. Each chapter sets a place’s past alongside the author’s experiences there, linking documented events with stories of alleged paranormal activity.
The locations include Drakelow Tunnels near Kidderminster, an underground complex developed during the Second World War, and sites connected with darker episodes of British history. One chapter examines Amelia Dyer, the Victorian baby farmer known as the Ogress of Reading, including Griffiths-Morgan’s claimed PSB-7 spirit-box communication with her. The book presents these encounters as personal experiences and investigative accounts, while keeping the historical circumstances surrounding each location at its centre.
