Haunted Maidstone

Haunted Maidstone gathers reports of ghostly activity from Maidstone and the surrounding area, combining previously unpublished accounts with fresh looks at established local cases. Neil Arnold considers reputedly haunted buildings, roads associated with reported apparitions and the stories attached to some of the town’s darker corners.

The book also includes atmospheric photography, giving its accounts a strong sense of place without presenting the reported phenomena as proven fact. A foreword by Sean Tudor, known for his work on the Blue Bell Hill ghost story, places the Maidstone material within Kent’s wider tradition of local haunting narratives.
