The Cryptozoology Files

Reports of sea serpents, unusually large cats, giant squid and spectral or monstrous dogs form this survey of Hull and East Yorkshire’s animal mysteries. Covell combines archive research with visits to reported locations, tracing stories across more than a century. Newspaper extracts and photographs accompany investigations into elusive creatures and the local responses they provoked.
