UFOs Over Britain

UFOs Over Britain traces reported sightings across more than 110 years, beginning with the mystery airships recorded in 1909. Neil R. Storey follows the subject through wartime accounts, post-war encounters and later British cases, including the Burton Dassett ghost lights, the Newbiggin abduction and the Ranton encounter.

The book also examines the RAF UFO landing at Cosford, the Hythe Mothman report and the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident. Storey draws on unpublished material from former UFO research groups, RAF and ROC officers, newspaper cuttings and other archive sources. Illustrations accompany accounts of reported objects and the locations connected with them, placing British UFO stories within the country’s wider social history.
