The Pennine UFO Mystery

The Pennine UFO Mystery investigates a reported wave of UFO activity across Northern England, concentrating on events around Todmorden and the wider Pennine region. Jenny Randles begins with the death of Zigmund Adamski, whose body was found near a railway line after he disappeared, and considers how speculation connected the case with UFO reports.

The book also examines the reported 1980 encounter involving police officer Alan Godfrey, who described missing time and later underwent hypnosis while attempting to recover his memories. Alongside these central cases, Randles surveys other sightings from the Pennines and considers how witnesses, police, investigators and local opinion responded as separate reports became linked within a wider regional mystery.
