Darlington Hippodrome
Darlington Hippodrome’s top-hatted man, traditionally founder Rino Pepi, reportedly appears in the Royal Box. Other accounts describe a dog on the circle staircase and a sobbing child in dressing room 12.

An 1890 North Road night-watchman reportedly encountered a uniformed man and black dog. His punch passed through the figure before both vanished into the coal house at today’s railway museum.
Locomotion Hotel
A Victorian-dressed woman reportedly smiles at Locomotion staff; glasses clear themselves and toilet doors move unaided. A cleaner described phantom feet inside the former railway station waiting room.
Preston Park Museum

Preston Park’s Grey Lady reportedly climbs the main staircase; a woman and dog vanish through a cellar wall. A spectral mounted highwayman has also been reported near the former railway track bed.
Red Lion, Norton
Norton’s Red Lion has reports of a phantom gunshot from its rear. Tradition connects it with an 1812 duel after a ball in the neighbouring house, later incorporated into the pub.
