Rudi Schneider: A Scientific Examination of his Mediumship
Harry Price’s account examines 26 experimental séances held in London during 1929–30 with the Austrian medium Rudi Schneider. The sessions were conducted through the National Laboratory of Psychical Research and used an electrical control installation intended to monitor the medium and sitters during trance. Price records reports of objects moving without apparent physical contact, cold breezes and limbs or hands appearing in the séance room.
The book combines descriptions of the apparatus, séance procedures and observed incidents with comments from invited investigators and witnesses. It presents the evidence as a contemporary psychical-research case study, while documenting the methods used to test claims of physical mediumship under controlled conditions.
