Things I Took from the Dark: The Museum of Me

Reece Shearsmith uses his collection of unusual objects to tell stories from his life. Haunted paintings, objects associated with witchcraft and a mummified mermaid feature among the exhibits.

His recollections move from childhood in Hull to The League of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9. Shearsmith illustrates the book himself, combining memoir with the stories surrounding his collection.
