Complete Ghosts and Legends of East Lothian

Complete Ghosts and Legends of East Lothian gathers ghost stories, legends and folklore associated with East Lothian, the historic coastal county in south-east Scotland. Its focus is local tradition: accounts and beliefs connected with the county’s landscapes, communities and remembered past, rather than a general survey of Scottish supernatural lore.

Hilary Cameron’s book provides a county-specific record of stories attached to East Lothian, preserving the way hauntings and legends form part of local folklore. The title indicates a broad treatment of the area’s ghostly and legendary traditions, making it a useful reference for anyone tracing supernatural beliefs and place-based storytelling in this part of Scotland.
