Haunted Bristol

Haunted Bristol gathers reported ghost stories and haunting traditions linked to the city and its past. Sue Le’Queux presents Bristol as a place where local history, buildings and remembered incidents have acquired supernatural associations, offering a compact account of the city’s ghostly reputation.

The book is concerned with stories of alleged apparitions and other paranormal activity rather than with fictional horror. Its focus remains firmly local, making it a useful introduction to Bristol’s haunted folklore and the tales attached to its historic setting. Illustrated throughout, it suits readers interested in regional ghost lore, paranormal reports and the darker side of Bristol’s history.
