Haunted Liverpool 7

Haunted Liverpool 7 gathers reported tales of apparitions, poltergeists, premonitions, timeslips and other uncanny incidents linked to Liverpool and Merseyside. Tom Slemen’s seventh volume ranges from domestic disturbances to local legends, presenting stories that move between ghost lore, strange encounters and accounts of apparently impossible events.

Among the episodes are a jigsaw said to foretell unpleasant developments, Francesca the porcelain doll, and Lantern-Jaw, a violent spectre associated with Rodney Street. Elsewhere, a mysterious tramp predicts a young musician’s future fame in Calderstones Park, while Kirkby provides the setting for an account involving a knife-wielding ghost. Human oddities also feature, including the artist Benjamin Julius and a docker’s encounter with a huge rubber bale.
