Kent Stories of the Supernatural

Kent Stories of the Supernatural gathers reported paranormal incidents and supernatural traditions from across the county. W. H. Johnson includes accounts such as The Bromley Poltergeist and Time Slips, alongside a report associated with Silver Hill on the Ashford Road near Tenterden.

The collection presents these stories as local accounts rather than established fact, placing named places and incidents within Kent’s wider tradition of ghost lore and unexplained experiences. Bibliographical references and an index give the book a useful reference element, while its compact format keeps the focus on individual cases and locations. It offers a county-based record of reported hauntings, poltergeist activity and time-slip experiences.
