Haunted Liverpool 19 gathers reported ghost stories, timeslip accounts and strange creature traditions from Liverpool and nearby Merseyside locations. Tom Slemen includes claims of a zombie army, phantom monks said to have visited a young woman in Childwall, and a reaper-like apparition reportedly seen by security guards in Fazakerley.

The collection also considers unidentified creatures described as “Anonyma”, alongside stories associated with Maggie May, Huyton’s ghostly highwayman and the Witch of Walton. Other accounts involve a house near Oxford Street, a double coffin commissioned in Tuebrook and a student who reportedly moved between parallel worlds. As with the wider series, the material is presented as local testimony, folklore and paranormal anecdote rather than established fact.
