Haunted Liverpool 8

Haunted Liverpool 8 gathers reported supernatural stories linked to Liverpool, combining accounts related directly to Tom Slemen with incidents drawn from historical research. The collection moves between local settings, maritime history and tales connected with places beyond Merseyside.

Among its stories is the reported haunting of the Martha Dunn, whose captain, William Benedict, and crew were killed by wreckers on the Mersey. Another follows Liverpool teenagers who investigate the Stone of Lamentations in 1970s Wales. Elsewhere, an Everton attic is associated with a harpist whose music allegedly predicts the future, while a flying nun is said to have interrupted a burglary on Mount Vernon Street.
