The Ghost Hunter's Almanac

The Ghost Hunter’s Almanac gathers reported hauntings from across the United Kingdom, arranged around the places associated with them. Its entries identify haunted properties, describe where apparitions were reportedly seen and consider the probable identity attached to each ghostly account.

Peter Underwood also records the witnesses connected with the cases and summarises the evidence offered in support of the haunting. The book presents these reports as investigations rather than simple ghost stories, with attention given to whether ordinary explanations have been ruled out. The result is a practical reference to British apparitions, combining location details, claimed sightings, witness testimony and the reasoning used to distinguish a haunting from natural causes.
