Midsummer is nearly here — the season of bonfires, folklore, ghost stories and strange old traditions.

So we thought it was the perfect excuse to get together.

Join Spooky Isles for a relaxed afternoon of spooky conversation, good company and all things weird and wonderful.

This is not a lecture or ghost hunt.

It is simply a social gathering for people who enjoy ghosts, folklore, dark history, horror films, haunted places and creepy conversations in old pubs.

We will have paranormal investigator Ashley Darkwood on hand for a special question and answer session, which always prove to be lots of fun as everyone gets to share their own experiences.

For nearly 15 years, Spooky Isles has brought together people fascinated by the strange side of Britain and Ireland through articles, podcasts, events and online communities.

Now we are bringing people together in person for friendly afternoons where you can chat, laugh, share stories and meet fellow lovers of the spooky and unexplained.

Come alone or bring friends, many people attend solo and quickly feel at home.

Earlier this year, many of us gathered for our Walpurgis Night social. Now we continue the tradition with a midsummer gathering in one of London’s great historic pubs.

If you enjoy ghosts, folklore, horror, dark history and wonderfully odd conversations, we would love to see you there.
